The primary aim of our research scholarship grant program is to provide financial support to deserving medical/public health students and early career professionals who demonstrate exceptional potential in conducting innovative and impactful research projects in the field of medical and public health. We are particularly interested in applicants who are seeking mentorship in their research journey.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Student or holding a degree in evidence based medicine/public health.

2. Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing research.

 

To apply for the research grant, please follow the steps below:

1. Clearly articulate the research project's objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes.

2. Provide a detailed timeline for the proposed project.

3. Provide details of areas where mentorship is needed.

4. Have the necessary approvals and permissions required to conduct the research.

5. Compile any supporting documents, such as a curriculum vitae (CV)and at least one letter of recommendation.

6. Submit your application package via email to USMLEdrive@gmail.com (No deadline).

Once the application is submitted, our expert panel will carefully evaluate each submission based on the following criteria:

1. Significance and relevance of the research project.

2. Feasibility and methodology.

3. Potential impact and contribution to the field.

After the evaluation process, we will promptly notify the candidates who have been shortlisted for further consideration. This should usually take 5 to 10 business days.

​

Once shortlisted, selected candidates will have the opportunity to pursue their research projects with the provision of necessary mentorship and guidance. Upon completion of the study, candidates are encouraged to publish their findings in any esteemed research journal.

The final grant scholarship selection will be based on the impact factor of the published journal. Research projects published in PubMed indexed journals with an impact factor greater than 2 will be given strong consideration for the scholarship grant.

All shortlisted applicants will receive the following benefits:

1. Access to research mentorship guidance and/or resources (if applicable).

2. Opportunity to present research findings at conferences or symposiums.

 

Candidates who publish their research but are not eligible for scholarship award will receive :

1. Potential for collaboration and networking with other researchers.

2. Letter of Recommendation from mentor.

Research Scholarship Grant Awardees will receive:

1. Financial support to fund their research project, up to 700 USD (Or more based on the budget)

2. Certificate

3. Potential for collaboration and networking with other researchers.

4. Letter of Recommendation from mentor.
